Maruti Suzuki MPV: Maruti Suzuki is constantly updating its portfolio. The company is also focusing on MPV cars along with SUV cars. Maruti Suzuki will launch its most expensive car in India this year. It will be a 7 seater car, which can create problems for the Toyota Innova and the company's Ertiga. Both of them are one of the most popular MPV cars in India. Here we are going to give you all the details related to this new MPV of Maruti.

Actually, this Maruti car will be based on Toyota's Innova Hycross which came a few months ago. It is likely to be launched in the market in the festive season of 2023. The new MPV will sit above the XL6 in Maruti Suzuki's lineup. The XL6 is priced between Rs 11.41 lakh to Rs 14.67 lakh (all, ex-showroom). The price of this new MPV of Maruti is expected to start from around Rs 20 lakh and go up to Rs 30 lakh. It will be sold through the company's Nexa dealership.

Will get the feature of ADAS

The design of the new Maruti Suzuki MPV will be slightly different from the Innova Highcross. Interestingly, it will be the first Maruti Suzuki car to come with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology. It will have features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitor.

Like the Toyota Innova Highcross, the new MPV from Maruti will get standard safety features like 6 airbags, traction control, electronic stability program, antilock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution. It will have two seating configurations 7 and 8-seater.

The powertrain setup will include the same 2.0L, 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle Hybrid (184bhp, e-drive transmission) and 2.0L petrol unit (172bhp/205Nm, a CVT gearbox) carried over from the Innova Highcross. With strong hybrid technology, this MPV will give a mileage of more than 23.24 kilometers per liter.
