Parliament session: The five-day special session of Parliament will start from Monday. Earlier on Sunday, the Narendra Modi government at the Center called an all-party meeting. This meeting was held in the Parliament Library Building. During this, opposition parties advocated passing the Women's Reservation Bill. He says that a provision should be made to reserve one-third of the total seats for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.

On the opposition's demand for discussion on the Women's Reservation Bill in the all-party meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that political parties keep making demands. Appropriate decision will be taken at appropriate time. Today 51 leaders of 34 parties participated in the meeting. A total of 8 bills are being prepared to be brought in this special session.

In the all-party meeting, BJD MP Pinaki Mishra raised the issue of Women's Reservation Bill. He says that Naveen Patnaik has been demanding this bill for a long time. He reiterated in the meeting that the Women's Reservation Bill should be brought and passed in the new Parliament. Many other parties supported the introduction of the Women's Reservation Bill in the meeting. Some people want reservation in reservation. Like there should be SC and OBC in women's reservation also. Quota should be given in quota. Samajwadi Party of Kota made the demand in Kota. The government is talking about bringing 7 bills.

Special session just like regular session – Adhir Ranjan

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that we thought that there would be some big issue or some miracle in the special session, but in the meeting it was described as a regular session. It has been said that there are 3-4 bills. Today it came to light that they are bringing a special session like the regular session, but we are being deprived of zero hour. There will be a discussion on 75 years of independence tomorrow from 11 am. We want discussion on inflation, Chinese encroachment, caste census, unemployment etc. Opposition parties have raised the demand for passing the Women's Reservation Bill in this session.

On the surprise element of the central government, Adhir Ranjan said that everything is possible in this government. At the same time, NCP (Ajit faction) leader Praful Patel says that we hope that the Women's Reservation Bill will be passed unanimously when it is presented in Parliament.

Sanjay Singh demanded discussion on these issues

Rajya Sabha MP from Aam Aadmi Party Sanjay Singh said that many important issues were raised in the all-party meeting before the Parliament session. All the opposition parties unanimously demanded the reinstatement of me and Raghav Chadha. Sanjay Singh said that Punjab's RDF fund should be released in the special session of Parliament, being a border state, a special package should be given, no changes should be made in the selection process of the Election Commission, women's reservation, caste census, Adani case, CAG report. All these issues including Manipur, Mewat should be discussed.
