Lok Sabha Election / MP Ganesh Murthy died of heart attack, consumed poison after not getting ticket

Lok Sabha Election: Current Lok Sabha MP from Erode, Tamil Nadu, MDMK's A. Ganeshmurthy passed away on Thursday morning. According to the information, he died due to cardiac arrest at 5:05 am today. Let us tell you that after allegedly attempting suicide, he was admitted to a private hospital on March 24, after which he was undergoing treatment.

Was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning

Police said that MP Ganeshmurthy's family brought him to the hospital around 9.30 am on Sunday morning. After checkup, the doctors shifted him to ICU and he was put on ventilator.

Family members claim- MP consumed poison

According to a report, his family members said that the MP had consumed pesticide sulfas poison. Reports claimed that MP A Ganeshmurthy had attempted suicide after not being given a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. However, when the doctors were asked about this, they refused to give any statement on this. The MP was later admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore.
