World Cup 2023 / New schedule of World Cup 2023 released, reshuffle in 9 matches including India-Pakistan

World Cup 2023: ODI World Cup is to be played in India this year. The ICC had released the schedule of this World Cup last month, but now the dates of some matches have been changed again. The ICC had now released a new schedule regarding this. Where changes have been made in total 9 matches including India vs Pakistan match. The dates of two matches of Team India have been changed. In which apart from the match against Pakistan, the match against Netherlands is also included.

Changes made by ICC in these matches

• 10 October: England vs Bangladesh
• 10 October: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka
• 12 October: Australia v South Africa
• October 13: New Zealand v Bangladesh
• October 14: India vs Pakistan
• October 15: England vs Afghanistan
• November 11: Australia vs Bangladesh
• 11 November: England vs Pakistan
• 12 November: India vs Netherlands

Why was the schedule changed

The match between India and Pakistan in the ODI World Cup to be played in India was earlier to be played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 15, but now this match will be played at the same venue on October 14 instead of 15. Dasasal Navratri will start from 15 October. Due to which the date of India vs Pakistan match to be held in Ahmedabad had to be changed. At the same time, the match between India and Netherlands will now be played on 12 November instead of 11 November. Due to which Team India will play its last match on the day of Diwali.
