In 16 overs, New Zealand's score was 110 runs for the loss of 4 wickets and England were on the way to victory, but James Neesham scored 23 runs in the 17th over of Chris Jordan to make the match exciting. After this, Daryl Mitchell sealed the victory of the Kiwi team by hitting Chris Woakes for two consecutive sixes in the 19th over. Mitchell returned unbeaten on 72 off 47 balls, while Neesham played a blistering innings of 27 runs in 11 balls.
