Lok Sabha Election: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held an organizational meeting with district leaders in Murshidabad on Friday evening and gave the message from there that Trinamool Congress is ready to field candidates on 42 out of 42 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, so all of you join forces. When TMC leader Kunal Ghosh was asked, he said that yes, our party supremo Mamata Banerjee has asked everyone to be ready for 42 seats. Mamta Banerjee is very serious about India Alliance and Sonia ji is in talks with Rahul ji. Whereas in West Bengal, it is being seen that Congress leaders are attacking Trinamool Congress and helping BJP.

He also said that Mamata Banerjee is ready for adjustment of seats. Now they will have to see what is the percentage of Congress in the assembly elections. Congress alliance with CPM had got zero victory, now if Congress does politics of pressure then it will not be possible.

Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary replied to Mamta - I don't care

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Saturday hit back at Mamata Banerjee's statement, saying she is not concerned about Trinamool's new plan to contest all 42 seats in West Bengal in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Adhir Chaudhary's Baharampur is also included in all the seats. However, Trinamool Congress is a key member of the opposition India Bloc. Adhir Chaudhary has been winning from this seat since 1999. Adhir said, "I don't care. Our leaders have spoken on this issue. I have reached here by contesting elections and winning. I know how to fight and how to win."

Mamta has given a direct challenge to Adhir

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said TMC should win three Lok Sabha seats - Jangipur, Murshidabad and Baharampur. Trinamool won the first two in the 2019 elections, so Mamata's order to her party leaders was a direct challenge to Adhir. Mamata said that if her party is not given due importance in the alliance talks, the party is ready to contest independently on all 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

How will the seats be coordinated?

Seat-sharing talks in West Bengal were bound to face hurdles because Adhir Chaudhary is a staunch critic of Mamata Banerjee. Earlier, Adhir said that Congress will not beg for seats from Trinamool, to which Mamata responded by saying that seat-sharing and bad alliance partners cannot go together. India Bloc is also facing uncertainty in Punjab as no agreement seems possible between AAP and Congress. At the same time, in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray's seat sharing talks between Shiv Sena and Congress had to be paid by Congress veteran and former Union Minister Milind Deora, who left the Congress because the Congress had indicated that Mumbai South Lok Sabha constituency Will go to Uddhav's party.
