Due to sudden rise in the water level of Yamuna river due to monsoon rains, a driver trapped in a strong current of water has been rescued by the police along with a canter. The Tigaon police station came to know that a canter driver was taking a canter on the unpaved road made in the middle of Yamuna.As soon as he reached the middle of the middle, due to the strong flow of water, he became unbalanced and started flowing with the stream. Due to the high level of the river at one place, that canter got stuck and started filling the river water in the canter. The driver, trapped in the same canter, started shouting for help.After getting the information from the police, the swimmer reached the spot on the banks of Yamuna. Daychand swimmer, showing courage along with his fellow swimmer, jumped into the fast flowing stream of the river and battling the strong current of deep water, the canter driver brought Pratap to a safe shore.Later the canter was also pulled out safely from the bank of the river. Police has given a prize of Rs.11 hundred to swimmer Daychand as an incentive for saving the life of the canter driver with the bold move of the swimmer.The video of this rescue has also surfaced.
