- To please Goddess Chandraghanta, offering milk-based sweets and kheer is considered especially auspicious. According to religious beliefs, offering milk or kheer on this day pleases the Goddess and she fulfills all the wishes of the devotees.
- Kheer: Rice kheer is the best offering to Goddess Chandraghanta. Kheer can be made even more delicious by garnishing it with saffron and dried fruits.
- Milk Sweets: Milk-based sweets like peda, barfi, or kalakand can also be offered to the Mother Goddess.
- After offering the offering, distributing it among girls and Brahmins is considered highly virtuous, as this act demonstrates the importance of devotion and charity.
- Follow the following procedure to worship Maa Chandraghanta:
- Preparation: Wear clean clothes and clean the place of worship.
- Installation: Install the idol or picture of Maa Chandraghanta. Also, install the Kalash.
- Offering: Offer roli, kumkum, rice grains, flowers, and a garland to the Goddess.
- Bhog: Offer milk or kheer. Prepare the offering with purity and devotion.
- Chanting: Chant Maa Chandraghanta's mantra, "Om Devi Chandraghantaye Namah." Additionally, you can recite mantras from the Durga Saptashati.
- Aarti: At the end of the puja, perform Maa's aarti and express your wishes before her.
