Sidhu was entrusted with the responsibility before the election

Lallu-Godiyal took moral responsibility

The decision of the Congress President will be followed. I take moral responsibility for the defeat in UP. In a democracy, the people are omnipotent. We will try to please them in the future. The party will try to fight in the 2024 general election in a better way. -Ajay Kumar Lallu

I take moral responsibility for the party's defeat in Uttarakhand. I wanted to resign on the result day itself but waited for the orders of the high command. -Ganesh Godiyal
