Owaisi Offers Alliance To SP Congress To Block Yogi Government In UP - Latest Key Updates

Ahead of the UP assembly elections 2027, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has once again offered an alliance to SP and Congress to stop BJP and Yogi Adityanath.

Political equations and calculations for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections of 2027 have already started forming and shifting across the state. In the midst of these political developments, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has once again extended an open alliance proposal to the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress party with the objective of halting and defeating the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state. However, this isn't the first time that such a political proposition has been put forward by Asaduddin Owaisi, as he has previously made similar offers as well. During those earlier instances, major political parties in the state, including the Samajwadi Party and the Congress, didn't give any positive signals or favorable responses to his proposals.

Regarding potential alliances for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has made a completely open offer to both the Samajwadi Party and the Congress party. While addressing a massive public gathering and rally in Kairana, Uttar Pradesh, Asaduddin Owaisi initially launched fierce political attacks and targeted both the Congress and the Samajwadi Party strongly, while however, upon reaching Shamli later, the tone of Owaisi's statements appeared somewhat shifted. During an event in Shamli, Owaisi clearly and categorically stated that his party doesn't want to see Yogi Adityanath become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for a second consecutive term, while clarifying his stance, Owaisi also pointed out that during the Bihar assembly elections as well, his party had made sincere efforts to forge an alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress, but their coalition offers were outright rejected.

Continuing his address, the AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi made a major statement regarding future political collaborations, while he stated that any political party or organization that genuinely wants to prevent Yogi Adityanath from becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for a third time, the AIMIM is completely prepared to walk alongside them and join hands with them. Elaborating further on his political narrative, Owaisi asserted that until Abdul emerges as a leader in society and politics, these complex issues will never find a permanent solution. This particular remark by Owaisi has generated significant discussions across political circles, as it strongly emphasizes political representation for the community.

During the election rally in Kairana, Asaduddin Owaisi launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, while reacting strongly and expressing anger over the comparison of himself to Ravana, Owaisi stated that Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav speaks the exact language of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He questioned that if ninety percent of the Muslim votes are secured by the Samajwadi Party, then it's only natural that tough questions will be directed precisely at them and the public will demand accountability from them. These aggressive remarks by Owaisi have dramatically heated up the political atmosphere of the state and intensified the verbal duel among opposition parties.

Political analysts and observers continue to ponder why major opposition parties never extend positive signals toward Owaisi's alliance overtures. To recap, even before previous election cycles in Uttar Pradesh, Owaisi had presented a formal alliance proposal before prominent opposition parties like the Samajwadi Party and the Congress in order to block the political momentum of the Bharatiya Janata Party. At that time, he had even set a strict deadline and ultimatum till the second of October to advance the alliance talks, but despite this, no positive reaction came forth from the primary opposition factions. The Samajwadi Party and other regional opposition entities have consistently refrained from sharing platforms or entering into electoral understandings with Asaduddin Owaisi.

The core belief among these opposition parties has been that Asaduddin Owaisi's party causes division and polarization of votes during elections, and in political circles, his party is frequently viewed and labeled as a vote spoiler, while however, amidst all these statements and debates, when Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav was questioned about the possibilities of an alliance with Owaisi in the past, he had replied very explicitly that the Samajwadi Party would continue to advance the same coalition that had successfully defeated the Bharatiya Janata Party in previous contests, clearly signaling that SP has no intentions of accommodating Owaisi.

Also, Asaduddin Owaisi has also issued a major and sharp statement regarding the upcoming rally of the INDIA bloc scheduled for the first of November at the historic Ramlila Maidan in the national capital of New Delhi. Amidst this rally and ongoing political developments, he has also launched a scathing attack on the Muslim leaders within the ranks of the Samajwadi Party, questioning their political role and effectiveness. These successive statements by Owaisi have once again stirred up immense political turmoil in Uttar Pradesh politics and heightened the anticipation surrounding the upcoming assembly elections. It remains to be seen whether the SP and Congress will respond to Owaisi's latest open offer in the future or continue to ignore it as before.
