He has given an important statement regarding the arrest of Nawaz Sharif. Pakistan's acting Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has said that law enforcement agencies will decide whether to arrest former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif when he returns home next month.

It is noteworthy that Nawaz Sharif, who went to London from Pakistan for treatment about 4 years ago, will also campaign for his party in the elections after his return. Giving information about this, Nawaz's younger brother and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif said that the Chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will leave for Pakistan from London on October 21 to lead the party's political campaign in the upcoming elections. Will return.

Before his arrival in Pakistan, Pakistan's acting Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has said that law enforcement agencies will decide whether to arrest former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif when he returns home next month. Nawaz Kakar made this comment during an interview on a Pakistani channel on Wednesday. He was asked about action being taken against Sharif (73) upon his return to Pakistan. Nawaz was declared a fugitive in February 2020. In the same year, the accountability court had also declared the former Prime Minister a fugitive in the Toshakhana vehicle case.

The decision of arrest is in the hands of law enforcement agencies: Kakar

When the interviewer asked whether Nawaz would be arrested upon returning home, Kakar said, “Law enforcement agencies will decide the matter in the light of law. If they feel that he (Nawaz) should be arrested then they will do it and if they don't feel that he should be arrested then they will not.” Nawaz's younger brother and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif said in London on Tuesday that Nawaz would return to Pakistan from Britain on October 21 to lead the party's political campaign in the upcoming elections. The Lahore High Court had allowed Nawaz to go abroad for four weeks for treatment, after which he went to London in November 2019 and did not return to Pakistan.

Nawaz went to London in November 2019

Nawaz has been living in London since November 2019 and with his return to his country, his self-exile that has been going on for the last 4 years will end. Shahbaz is currently in London.

Nawaz was serving 7 years jail sentence

Nawaz was convicted in the Al-Azizia Mills and Avenfield corruption cases in 2018. He was serving a 7-year prison sentence in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat jail before being allowed to travel to London on 'medical grounds' in 2019. Shehbaz had earlier said that if his party returned to power in the general elections, Nawaz Sharif would become the prime minister. In August, Shahbaz said that his elder brother would return to Pakistan in September to face pending court cases and lead the party's campaign in the general elections.

Pakistan is going through very bad times

Nawaz's plans to return to Pakistan were changed after the Election Commission of Pakistan decided to delimit constituencies afresh based on the new census. Now it is almost certain that Nawaz will return to his country on October 21. Let us tell you that these days Pakistan is surrounded by crisis on both economic and political fronts and inflation has made the condition of the common man worse. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see how Nawaz speeds up his party's campaign after returning home.
