INDIA-PAK: The ice that has been in relations between India and Pakistan for the last several years is now melting. Relations have started to improve after first letter from Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Pakistan Day and in response to PM Modi's response letter to PM Modi. News agency Reuters quoted sources as saying that Pakistan's Economic Coordination Council has allowed India to import cotton and cotton yarn.

The import of cotton has been approved by the Pakistan cabinet. Along with this, now they can also request sugar from India. Sugar imports can also be decided soon. Significantly, in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's letter on Pakistan Day, Imran Khan wrote a letter thanking PM Modi and said that the people of Pakistan also want peace and cooperative relationship with all neighboring countries including India.

Imran Khan wrote- We believe that the long-term peace and stability in South Asia depends on resolving all the issues between India and Pakistan, especially on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. It is necessary to create an atmosphere of harmony for positive and productive interaction. He further added that he wants to wish the Indian public good luck in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sent a letter congratulating Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on the occasion of Pakistan's National Day on Tuesday. In a congratulatory message sent to Imran Khan, Prime Minister Modi said that India wants friendly relations with the people of Pakistan and for this a terror-free environment is very important. Prime Minister Modi, in his letter, also mentioned the fight against the corona virus and wished Imran Khan and the people of Pakistan.
