PM Modi CM Gehlot: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming on a two-day visit to Jaipur on 11 January. During this, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will also come with him. At the same time, there will be a conference of assembly presidents and secretaries of all states from January 10 to 12 under the chairmanship of assembly speaker CP Joshi.

In fact, the Union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and the Lok Sabha Speaker's Office have chosen Rajasthan for the conference of the Speakers and Secretaries of the Legislative Assemblies of all the states. That's why CP Joshi has started preparing for it. Democracy, parliamentary functioning, importance of legislature-executive, challenges, rules, arrangements, institutions etc. will be discussed in the conference. A report will be prepared on this. Which will be sent to all the Legislative Assemblies and Lok Sabha-Rajya Sabha.

During this program, Governor Kalraj Mishra, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria, Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathod, former Speaker Kailash Meghwal, including Union Ministers, MPs, present and former MPs of Rajasthan, MLAs and former MLAs will also participate. This will be the first time when Om Birla and Jagdeep Dhankhar will come together to Rajasthan.

Earlier, during the year 2012-13 also, Rajasthan had hosted the conference of Speakers of Legislative Assembly. Coincidentally even then the Chief Minister of the state was Ashok Gehlot, and even today when this conference is held again, CM Gehlot will host it. Not only this, but CM Gehlot is the only Chief Minister during whose tenure four leaders associated with the state reached the top positions in the country.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has handled the command of the state three times since 1998-2003, 2008-2013 and 2018.
