Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the venue of the G-7 summit here. There was a conversation between these leaders before the group photo was taken. During this, all the leaders greeted each other with great warmth.

One such moment was seen between PM Modi and US President Joe Biden. A video is going viral on social media in which the US President suddenly comes and puts his hand on PM Modi's shoulder from behind. It can be seen in the video that PM Modi is shaking hands with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau when suddenly Joe Biden comes from behind and puts his hand on PM Modi's shoulder and says something to him. PM Modi also looks back and then both the leaders laugh and shake hands warmly with each other.

Modi, standing next to Trudeau for the group photo, was also seen interacting with the Canadian Prime Minister. Both the leaders are scheduled to have a bilateral meeting in the evening. Prime Minister Modi is in Germany on a two-day visit from Sunday for the G7 summit. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz welcomed him to the summit in southern Germany.

Standing next to his Canadian counterpart Trudeau for a group photo, Prime Minister Modi was also seen interacting with the Canadian Prime Minister. The two leaders are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting this evening. Modi and Macron hugged and interacted after a group photo. As the G-7 leaders went inside the summit venue, the two leaders continued their discussion and went inside together.

The Prime Minister's Office said on Twitter, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Joe Biden, President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau." Prime Minister Modi also tweeted a caption accompanying the group photo, which read, "World At the G-7 summit with the leaders." This was the first meeting between Modi and Biden after they met at the Quad summit in Japan in May. The German Presidency has invited Argentina, India, Indonesia, Senegal and South Africa to the G7 summit in Illamau, Bavaria.
