Coronavirus / PM talks to Trump, discusses India-US partnership to fight COVID-19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that he had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump over the coronavirus pandemic. The PM said the two leaders agreed "to deploy the full strength of the India-US partnership to fight COVID-19". Coronavirus cases in the US crossed 2,70,000 with over 7,000 deaths while India confirmed over 3,000 cases with 75 deaths.

New Delhi:Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday he had a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump about using the two countries’ partnership to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

"We had a good discussion, and agreed to deploy the full strength of the India-US partnership to fight COVID-19," Modi said in a tweet here
