News Helpline . Mumbai | If once you make your mind to do something, then nobody can impede you. Actors Preity Zinta Goodenough and Shilpa Shetty Kundra have equipped themselves to learn something new. Celebrating National sports day both the divas took to their Instagram handle and posted the videos of learning sports. In the video, Preity is seen learning Aikijitsu's defense. Whereas Shilpa is seen learning Archery. It seems that both the divas are enjoying their activities. As they are seen practicing dedicatedly.

The Instagram feed of Preity read, “You are never too late, never too old, never too weak or never too slow to learn something new. Here is Day 7 of training where I learnt Aikijitsu defence against an overhand knife attack using the wrist reversal takedown “Kote Gaeshi” Of course every bit of me hurts but a tiny voice in my head screams - YEAHHH Thank you @acohofficial for being a wonderful teacher & thank you @royelghanayan for shooting this video

Shilpa on her Instagram wrote, “A child’s mind and body are like wet clay. So, I believe it is imperative that we introduce our kids to as many sporting activities as is possible. It helps inculcate sportsman spirit, a sense of healthy competition, ample physical activity, and is a good way to build an appetite. Also, once they take a liking to a sport and develop the habit of experimenting with other sporting activities, it helps them stay active well into their adulthood too. But, kids learn best when they see us doing what we ask them to do. So, back in those days when outdoor activities were a part of our lives. I decided to learn a new sport, archery on a trip... (never too old to learn) not bad for a beginner, must say As our Fit India Movement completes a successful year today on National Sports Day, I would like to encourage parents to encourage not just the little ones to learn something new, but even themselves... regularly. Swasth Raho, Mast Raho”
