New Delhi: In his address on the last day of 'Nav Sankalp Shivir' in Udaipur, Rahul Gandhi admitted that Congress's 'connection' with the people is broken, and it needs to be rectified immediately. He said the entire focus of the Congress is presently on 'internal matters' like who is getting which post. The former Congress president told the party leaders that they should focus their attention on establishing relationships with the people. Rahul Gandhi said, not just for us...for the country...be it our senior leaders, junior leaders or workers, we should go to the people and sit with them without thinking anything.

We have to accept that Congress has lost its connection with the people: Rahul

And the connection which we used to do with the people…the connection of the Congress party which is broken with the public, we have to accept…we have to re-establish that connection…people want that…they understand that only Congress can take the country forward. Regional parties cannot compete with BJP, only Congress can: Rahul
