More than five months have passed since the REET exam results were declared in Rajasthan, yet the Grade III teacher recruitment notification had not been issued, leaving over 6 lakh candidates in a state of anticipation. There's good news for them now. The Bhajanlal government is reportedly set to recruit Grade III teachers for 7500 posts, with the notification expected to be released in November.
Board Chairman Alok Raj's Statement
Alok Raj, Chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), stated that the recruitment examination for Grade III teachers would be conducted by the board after the REET exam. He confirmed that all preparations have been completed by the RSSB. The recruitment notification will be released next month in November. Currently, 7500 posts are proposed for teacher recruitment in both Level-1 and Level-2. The examination is slated for January next year, while
Possibility of Increased Vacancies
Alok Raj also mentioned that discussions are ongoing with officials from the education department regarding an increase in the number of posts. Should the number of vacancies rise, the notification will be issued by the last week of November. In such a scenario, a slight alteration in the recruitment exam date might be possible.
Tentative Exam Schedule
The Grade III teacher recruitment will be conducted under the Primary and Secondary Education Department, Government of Rajasthan, with the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board acting as the recruiting agency. The application process is highly likely to begin in November, while according to the examination calendar released by the RSSB, the recruitment examination is tentatively scheduled to be held between January 17, 2026, and January 21, 2026. The REET exam was held in February last year, and its results were announced in May, with over 6. 36 lakh candidates qualifying.
