Due to this war, the price of edible oil has definitely increased in Punjab. The maximum effect is being seen in refined oil and dalda ghee. In just four days, the rate of a tin of refined has increased from Rs 150 to Rs 200.

The refined tin was earlier available for Rs 2350. He is now getting 2500 to 2550 rupees. If we talk about one liter pack of refined, then it has also increased by Rs 15 per liter. Similarly, the price of Dalda Ghee has also increased by Rs 10 per kg. Now the price of this 15 kg tin has increased to Rs 140. Ankit, a trader associated with the profession of refined, says that the entire market has been disturbed due to the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Palm oil used in refined and ghee comes from Indonesia and Malaysia, but due to rust, it is not able to reach the Indian market, due to which the price of refined oil has increased. He said that sunflower comes from Ukraine, so its effect is also being seen in refined.

He said that if the war does not end soon, there is a possibility of further increase in refined and ghee in the coming days. Trader Prince Kumar says that the price of oil and ghee is increasing due to the supposed war, but some traders are deliberately increasing the price. Till now, there is a lot of stock of palm oil and refined ghee in India. Some shopkeepers have increased the prices of goods lying with them from now on. He said that the war would go away after a few days, but this increased price would not reduce, due to which the common man would have to bear the loss.
