No immediate explanation was given for the postponement of Thursday's session. Parliament is to meet on Sunday to start the debate.

Imran Khan's political journey

Let us tell you that Imran Khan came to power in 2018. He promised to make Pakistan free from corruption. However, he made compromises with some of the tainted leaders of the country. Imran Khan, a former international cricketer-turned-politician, has embraced a more conservative brand of Islam. She has also held association with radical clerics including Maulana Tariq Jameel, who once said that women in short skirts caused the Covid-19 pandemic.

did some good work

Imran Khan is credited with building the country's foreign reserves, which now stand at over $18 billion. Despite the economic slowdown caused by the pandemic, earnings from Pakistanis living abroad stood at $29 billion in 2021. They have also cracked down on the informal money transfer system, known as hawala, to fight corruption. However, the opposition blames them for high inflation and weak Pakistani rupee.

He has received international acclaim for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Imran Khan's so-called "smart" lockdown targeted heavily infected areas. He avoided a nationwide shutdown. Some of the country's major industries such as construction were preserved.
