A 50-year-old psychopathic daughter killed her 76-year-old father in Goa. The incident took place in Ambolim village on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday. The daughter had returned from church after praying for Easter.The police gave this information on Monday. The reason for the incident is not yet known. The wife of the deceased was not at home at the time of the incident. She went to her sister's house. The accused woman has been arrested and sent to a psychiatric institution, as she was already undergoing treatment there.The incident happened on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday when accused Marianne Cardoso returned home after attending Easter prayers. A Cuncolim police officer said that his father Fidelis Mariano Pedda was hit with a stick.Police said that Marianne had been living with her father since her divorce from her husband in the year 2000. What caused the incident is not yet known. Police have registered a case of murder, further investigation is on.
