Bihar / Roster released under new guideline, know which shops will open on which day

Patna. People have started getting some relief as soon as lockdown 4.0 starts in Bihar. Now the shops will remain open at 2 pm. Along with this some other facilities have also been given. However, masks and social distancing will have to be strictly followed. Let us inform that many restrictions imposed earlier till Lockdown 3.0 have been removed in Lockdown-4.0. Now all types of shops will open in the middle of a day. All the district administrations of Bihar have now decided which shops will open on which day.

Even in Lockdown 4.0, shops of essential commodities will open every day as before. Apart from this, shops of electrical, electronic, gold and silver, furniture and building materials as well as salons and parlors will remain open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Similarly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, shops selling clothes, utensils, shoes, slippers, sports goods, stationery, book-copy, etc., besides dry cleaners have been fixed as opening days.

Let us inform that in Lockdown-3.0, shops in urban areas were allowed to open till 6-10 pm and in rural areas till 8-12 pm, but under the new order, now shops can be opened till 2 pm. The opening hours of the shop will be from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. During this, following the prescribed guidelines regarding masks, sanitizers and physical distance will have to be ensured. The government has made it clear that it is very important to follow the guidelines to prevent corona infection.

Shops will open daily, grocery shops, dairy / milk booths, medical / drug stores, all hospitals, private clinics, home delivery service (restaurant etc.), e-commerce service / telecommunication, internet, grain market services, broadcasting and cable service, fruits / Vegetable Market, Meat & Fish Shops, Animal Feed Shop, High Security Registration Plates, Automobile Workshop / Garage / Servicing, Petrol Pump / Gas Agency / Other Essential Center Services, Automobiles Tires & Tubes, Cycles, Lubricants / Spare Parts ( Motor vehicle / motor shop / cobbler / cycle / scooter including repair), all establishments related to agricultural work and machinery, cold storage and warehousing.

Shops Open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Electrical Goods, Fans, Coolers, Air-Conditioners (Sale & Repair), Electronic Goods - Mobiles, Computers, Laptops, UPS & Batteries (Sales & Repairs), Salons, Parlors, Furniture, Gold - Silver, Storage and Sale of Construction Materials Related establishments such as cement, steel, sand, stone, cement blocks, bricks, plastic pipes, hardware sanitary fittings, iron, paint and shuttering materials.

Shops Open on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Textiles (including ready-made garments), utensils, slippers, sports/sports goods, dry cleaners, stationery, book-copy and all other shops which are not in the list will also open on the same day.
