School Reopening / Schools above 8th are opening in Uttar Pradesh from tomorrow, dates announced in Bihar too

In this sequence, the Uttar Pradesh government has also given permission to open schools in the state from Monday. Orders for this have been issued by the Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi. It has been said in this order that from Monday, February 7, 2022, schools and higher educational institutions above class VIII will be opened in the state. The decision to open schools up to class VIII will be taken further.

Schools were closed in December

The Uttar Pradesh government had closed schools and colleges in the state at the end of December in view of the increasing case of corona epidemic in the state. At the same time, there was a continuous increase in the dates of opening them. However, online classes continued to be conducted. Now orders have been issued to open schools. Recently, the central government also advised the states to open schools.

Schools are also opening in Bihar from tomorrow

After the decrease in corona cases in Bihar, the government has issued orders to open schools from Monday. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said that schools up to class VIII will be opened in the state with 50 percent capacity. At the same time, colleges and coaching institutes of class IX and above will be opened with 100% capacity. Cinema halls, clubs, gyms, stadiums, swimming pools, restaurants etc. will be opened in the state with 50 percent capacity.

Schools open in Delhi too

The Delhi government has also announced the opening of schools in the capital. Schools from class IX to XII in the capital Delhi will be opened on February 7, 2022. At the same time, schools from Nursery to VIII will be opened from February 14, 2022. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had told that it will be ensured that all the teachers are vaccinated.
