After stealing BTS plates from mobile towers in Agra, the gang used to sell them to scrap dealers in Delhi. The scrap dealer used to sell the plates to parties in Dubai for double the price. It was transported to Dubai by water ship. The police had disclosed this by arresting the scrap trader on Wednesday. Plates have been recovered from him.

SP RA Western Satyajit Gupta said that Base Transceiver Station (BTS) plates were stolen from mobile towers in other areas including Achhnera, Saiyan, Tajganj. Recently, the police caught five-six thieves and sent them to jail. These included the employees of the company who had done the work of installing mobile towers in the past. He had given information of many more buyers.

Police had recovered BTS plates on Wednesday night

On Wednesday night, an Alto car was stopped in the checking of Criminal Intelligence Branch, SWAT team and Achhnera police. In the search of the car, BTS plates of 15 mobile towers, Rs 21110 were recovered. The car riders could not show the plates bills. This was questioned. He told about buying the stolen BTS plate. This plate was installed in the mobile tower. With the help of this, the location can be found when a person's call is received. Because of this, these plates are expensive.

BTS plate was stolen on demand

Police said that the arrested accused is Dinesh Babu, a resident of Kilokari, Ashram Village, New Delhi. He has a scrap business in Jaitpur, Delhi. Irfan of Agra used to sell him BTS plates. After this, he sells this plate to the parties in Dubai. A plate of 20 thousand is sold in Dubai for 35 to 40 thousand.

The market price of the new plate is more than two lakh rupees. The party used to call him and demand. On this he used to tell Irfan. Irfan used to deliver the goods to him. These plates were delivered by ship. Irfan was about to get more plates now. He had left after giving the plate and asking to bring it. The accused businessman had brought his brother-in-law's car. Told him that he was going to the wedding. Irfan came to Agra with him.
