Lok Sabha Election / Seat sharing final between NDA in Bihar, BJP 17 and JDU 16 seats

Lok Sabha Election: An agreement has been reached on seat sharing between NDA and its constituents in Bihar. BJP General Secretary and Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary along with Sanjay Jha from JDU and Raju Tiwari from LJP (R) are announcing seat sharing. BJP will contest elections on 17 seats in the state, while Nitish Kumar led JDU will contest on 16 seats. Chirag Paswan RLSP will field its candidates on 5 seats. Upendra Kushwaha's party RLJD will contest on one seat and former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi's HAM party will contest on one seat.

Announcing the seats, BJP General Secretary and Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde said that the NDA alliance will fight the elections together. All NDA parties will use their full strength and win on all 40 seats of Bihar. At the same time, Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary said that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, three parties had fought together and this time five parties will contest the elections together. We are going to the election field in 2024 with the resolve to win 40 out of 40 seats.

Who got which seat?

The 16 seats that have gone to JDU's account include Balmiki Nagar, Sitamarhi, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Kishanganj, Katiyar, Purnia, Madhepura, Gopalganj, Siwan, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Nalanda, Jehanabad and Shivhar seats. BJP has won the seats of West Champaran, East Champaran, Aurangabad, Madhubani, Araria Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Maharajganj, Saran, Ujiarpur, Begusarai, Nawada, Patna Sahib, Patliputra Ara, Buxar and Sasaram. LJP will contest from Vaishali, Hajipur, Samastipur, Jamui, Khagaria and Kushwaha's party Karakat, HAM will contest from Gaya Lok Sabha seat.

Claim to win 40 out of 40 seats

On the announcement of seats, JDU leader Sanjay Jha said that we thank PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Tawde ji. Seat sharing deal has been finalized in Bihar. Right now it is a one way election. People have expectations from the double engine government. LJP RK Raju Tiwari said that we will win 40 out of 40 seats in this election. We have got 5 seats.
