New Law Bills / Section 101 will be imposed on murder and section 70 on gang rape, the law will change so much with the new bill.

New Law Bills: There is a debate going on in the country on new law bills. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while replying to the debate on the three bills in the Lok Sabha, said that it will come out of the mentality of 150 years of slavery. After passing from the House, Indian Penal Code i.e. IPC will be replaced by Indian Justice Code Bill 2023, CRPAC will be replaced by Indian Civil Defense Code 2023 and Evidence Act will be changed to Indian Evidence Bill-2023.

With the passing of the new bills, there will be changes in the existing penal sections as well. In the new bills, some sections have been increased, some have been removed and some have been changed. This means that there will be many important changes in the sections of crimes that were imposed till now. If understood in simple language, Section 302, which was imposed till now instead of murder, will now be used for snatching. Section 101 will be imposed on murder. Similarly, Section 376 of rape will now be replaced by Section 70.

The currents will be so low

There will be a total of 533 sections in the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023, there were 478 sections in the CrPC implemented till now. Its 160 sections have been changed. 9 sections have been removed and the same number of new sections have been added. Exactly the same has happened in the Indian Judicial Code, although about 155 sections have been reduced in it. There will now be 356 sections in the Judicial Code, whereas till now there were 511 sections in the IPC. The special thing is that out of these, 22 sections have been repealed, while 8 new sections have been included. 3 sections have been increased in the Indian Evidence Act. Now it has 170 sections, out of which 23 have been changed, while 5 have been completely removed.

These will be the sections of murder, fraud, rape and gang rape.

Under IPC, Section 302 is imposed on murder, whereas under the new law, Section 101 will be imposed in its place. Section 316 will replace Section 420 of fraud and Section 135 will come into effect instead of Section 362 of kidnapping. Section 375 and 376 of rape will be replaced by Section 63 and gang rape will be replaced by Section 70 instead of Section 376.

The section of murder will now apply to snatching, the section of dowry death will change.

The most important thing about the new law is that it has also prescribed a section for chain snatching or other snatching crimes. Section 302, which till now was applicable for murder, will now be applied for the crime of snatching. Section 304B applicable in dowry deaths will be replaced by Section 799. Apart from this, Section 187 will be effective instead of Section 144 for creating crowd and ruckus.

New sections for treason, anti-national activity

Under the new law, treason will now be called treason, section 124A will be replaced by section 150, section 146 will be effective in place of section 121A on charges of anti-national activity. Apart from this, Section 145 will be imposed in place of Section 121 against those who conspire against the country.

Section 377 removed, new section will be imposed on having sex with promise of marriage

If someone instigates someone to commit suicide, Section 306 will now be replaced by Section 106. The most important thing is that there will be no Section 377 in the new laws, it has been removed. However, Section 69 has been added to it, which will punish those who have sexual relations with false promise of marriage. There is a provision of 10 years imprisonment in this crime, the special thing is that it will not be in the category of rape.
