In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have killed four terrorists while one terrorist has been caught alive in the operation against terrorists at 4-5 different places since Friday night. Security forces have eliminated two terrorists in the encounter in Pulwama. One terrorist each has also been killed in Ganderbal and Handwara. One terrorist has been arrested. Kashmir Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said that on Friday night we started joint operation at 4-5 places. So far, two terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed including one Pakistan in Pulwama and one terrorist each of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Ganderbal and Handwara have been killed. The Pakistani terrorist killed in Pulwama is Kamal Bhai, the commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed, who was active from the year 2018. Encounters in Handwara and Pulwama have ended. One terrorist has also been arrested.

Earlier on Friday evening, terrorists attacked the house of a sarpanch and killed him in Adura village of Kulgam district. The terrorists fired from close range, in which he was seriously injured. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but he died on the way. Shabbir's wife is also Panch from Ward 3 of Adura. After the incident, the security forces launched a search operation in the entire area, but there was no trace of the terrorists. Terrorists have killed three panchayat representatives so far this month.

Police said that the terrorists who reached Adura village at 8.50 pm targeted Sarpanch Shabbir Ahmed Mir and opened fire. In this he fell seriously injured. After this the terrorists fled threatening. After the incident, the family members immediately rushed him to Kulgam District Hospital, but he died on the way.

Medical superintendent of the hospital Dr. Muzaffar said that the sarpanch was shot in the stomach. He was brought dead to the hospital. After the incident, senior officials of the security forces reached the spot and got information about the incident. The search operation was carried out by encircling the surrounding areas.

In nine days, two representatives were targeted in Kulgam and one in Srinagar.

Terrorists have killed three panchayat representatives so far this month. Earlier on March 9, in Khonmuh, Srinagar, terrorists had entered the house and killed PDP Sarpanch Sameer Ahmed Bhat. On March 2, in Kulpora Sarandro area of ​​Kulgam district, independent Panch Mohammad Yakub Dar was shot dead by terrorists. He was shot from close range outside the house. BJP media in-charge of Kashmir, Manzoor Bhat, condemned the incident and said that strict action should be taken against those responsible for such attacks.
