Seeing his photos and videos with other boys in his mobile, he lost his cool and strangled Shalini to death. Similarly, the corpse itself was filled in the bore and thrown into the well by bike. According to the police, Ravi has single-handedly carried out the entire murder.

Ravi was named after Shalini's body was recovered

After Shalini's body was recovered, her friends Ravi Thakur and Om Prakash were named by the family members. Police had caught Ravi, a resident of Loco Colony in Civil Lines, two days ago. Ravi was arrested on Wednesday. When Ravi narrated the story of the murder, the policemen were also surprised. Actually Ravi Thakur, originally from Jehanabad, Bihar, is a good football player.

Shalini also used to play football. The two met during a match four years ago. After that both of them started falling in love with each other. Shalini also got Ravi's name tattooed on her hands. His family members also knew about their friendship. According to Inspector Civil Lines Virendra Yadav, Ravi had started suspecting Shalini for some time. In fact, Shalini used to talk to her friend Om Prakash as well.

After the murder, the dead body was stuffed in a sack, took it by bike to the well

Ravi was irritated by this. The two also quarreled several times. On Valentine's Day, Shalini came to Prayagraj from Delhi without informing her family members. After receiving him from Ravi station, he took him to his house in Loco Colony. During the conversation there, Ravi started looking at his mobile. According to Ravi, there were videos and photographs of Shalini with two boys in it. Ravi lost his temper. Started assaulting Shalini. When Shalini also protested, he strangled her to death.

After this, after tying the dead body in a sack, he threw the bike alone in the well located at the Polo Ground. After this, he used to check the newspaper every day to see if Shalini's body had been recovered. The day the body was recovered, he was trying to escape but the police caught Ravi before that.

Journey from a promising player to a vicious criminal

Ravi's brother, who hails from Jehanabad, Bihar, is working in the Railways. He has been allotted a house in Railway Colony. Ravi lived there. Ravi is a promising football player. But the way he carried out the murder and disposed of the corpse, it turns out that there was a vicious criminal inside him as well. Like a vicious criminal, he first filled the corpse in the sack and then stitched it by piercing the scissors. Alone tied the corpse in the sack to the bike and threw it into the well.

Clean chit to Omprakash, did not get any role in the murder

Along with Ravi Thakur, Shalini's family members also nominated Omprakash of Salori. Actually Shalini's family used to live in Salori earlier. Om Prakash also lived in the neighbourhood. Shalini was friends with him. She often spoke to Omprakash. Ravi used to doubt Shalini because of this. According to Inspector Virendra, no role of Omprakash was found in the murder. His name will be dropped from the FIR.
