Domestic stock markets started Wednesday's session on a marginally higher note but soon turned choppy. The S&P BSE Sensex surged as much as 103.88 points to hit 37,639.54 and slipped as much as 56.79 points to an intraday low of 37,478.87. The Nifty50 barometer of the National Stock Exchange moved in a range of 11,327.85 and 11,287.65, logging a swing of 40.2 points compared with its previous close of 11,301.20.
