In Bundi district, Rajasthan, a vehicle belonging to Khanpur MLA Suresh Gurjar collided with a scooty, resulting in the death of a former Sarpanch. The incident occurred on National Highway-52 near Pench ki Bawdi, leading to significant unrest and a prolonged traffic blockade by local residents. The accident took place within the jurisdiction of the Hindoli police station. The victim, identified as Babu Singh Meena, a former Sarpanch of Umargaon, was riding a scooty when the MLA's black Scorpio hit him. According to witnesses, the impact was severe, causing the victim to die at the scene. While the MLA remained unhurt, the front portion of the vehicle sustained heavy damage due to the collision.

Highway Blockade and Public Outcry

Following the news of the death, a large number of villagers and relatives gathered at the site, while the protesters placed the body on National Highway-52, effectively halting all vehicular movement. This led to long queues of vehicles on both sides of the highway, causing significant inconvenience to commuters for several hours.
