Bollywood | Shah Rukh Khan and his team were stopped by customs officials at the Mumbai airport late on Friday night. He had returned from Sharjah. He had gone to UAE in connection with an event. It is being told that after about an hour of questioning, Shah Rukh Khan came out with his manager Pooja Dadlani. Shah Rukh Khan had expensive watch covers for which he had not paid the custom duty. After questioning, he had to pay a fine of about seven lakh rupees.

Shahrukh along with his team reached a book launch event in Dubai by private charter. He returned to Mumbai at 12.30 last night. Covers of expensive watches were found in the bags of Shah Rukh and his team after which the custom stopped and checked all of them. According to Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) sources, the Bollywood star had expensive watch covers worth around Rs 18 lakh. For which he had to pay custom duty of Rs 6.83 lakh.

Bill in the name of Shahrukh's bodyguard

The entire interrogation process lasted for about an hour. After which Shah Rukh and Pooja Dadlani were allowed to leave the airport but their bodyguard Ravi and other members were stopped. According to media reports, the bill is made in the name of Shahrukh's bodyguard. Although sources reveal that the money was given from Shahrukh's credit card.

No response from team

So far no statement has come from Shahrukh's team in this matter. Talking about the workfront, Shahrukh will be seen in 3 films next year. 'Pathan' will release in the beginning of the year. After that 'Jawan' and 'Danki' will come.
