Ram Mandir: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar has once again given a statement regarding Ram Temple today. Pawar had received the invitation for the consecration, but he will go to Ayodhya to worship Lord Ram after the construction of the temple is completed. During this, Sharad Pawar said that Rajiv Gandhi has contributed in the construction of the temple. Sharad Pawar said this while speaking at a program in Solapur district today. Not only this, he also said that the temple is being built at some distance from where the idol was.

"Rajiv Gandhi had opened the lock and taken out the statue."

Speaking at an event in Solapur, Sharad Pawar said that Rajiv Gandhi, when he was the Prime Minister, had opened the lock in Ayodhya and taken out the idol of Ram. At that time the dispute started that why did you open the lock? Then after the fall of Babri Masjid, Rajiv Gandhi started the effort to build the temple. In that some people took the role of protest and some people went to the court. That case went on in the court for 20 years. The court gave its decision in this case 2 years ago. The decision came in favor of Hindus.

"The temple is being built at a distance from where the idol was."

During this, Sharad Pawar said that Ram Mandir Janmabhoomi Trust has prepared the future plans. A temple was built at some distance from where the idol was supposed to be. Whereas BJP's role was to build the temple there. It was he who changed the decision to build the temple 'there', after he came to power. It is a good thing that the temple is being built today, everyone is happy, neither we nor Congress opposed it. I had received an invitation to Ayodhya. We respect Ram. His personality is going to give direction to the society.

What did you say when you refused the invitation?

Sharad Pawar said that Ram is not the personality of any organization or party. After seeing their invitation, it seemed that this is a program of a special organization party. After the completion of the temple work, whether it takes 1 year or 2 years, I will come to Uttar Pradesh and visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya. I will express my feelings there. There is no need to take this program before the elections, I have given such a reply to those who had invited me. Pawar said that he invited many people including industrialists.

Pawar cornered BJP on the pretext of temple

NCP President said that it is in the pages of newspapers that we will spend Rs 60 thousand crores on Ayodhya, it is a good thing. Farmers have not been given compensation for drought. Ram's beloved mother cow has not been paid for her fodder yet. Even after 2 to 4 years it was not given. This is an example of how much devotion they have for Ram and Mother Cow. But we will soon see the reality of how we will win elections through this.
