Recently a solar storm erupted in space after an explosion on the Sun. Since March 14, it is rapidly moving towards Earth and will hit our planet on Thursday.

According to NASA, the storm coming at a speed of 21,85,200 km per hour is expected to hit 80 percent of the Earth. Scientists warn, radio and GPS services may be affected in the morning and evening due to solar storm. This time there is a risk of three times more than the previous storm. There will be a bright glow in the sky of New Zealand and New York.

Space conditions will change rapidly

We've seen very little movement in the sun over the years. This mostly happens during solar minimum, but now we are moving fast towards solar maximum. It will be faster in 2025.

Impact on earth

The warming of the Earth's outer atmosphere due to solar storms will have a direct effect on the satellite. This can cause interference with GPS navigation, mobile phone signal and satellite TV. The current in the power line can be high, which can also blow transformers. Usually this rarely happens.
