New Delhi : Congress President Sonia Gandhi was today questioned by the Enforcement Directorate for six hours in an alleged money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper. ED officials have called Sonia Gandhi again tomorrow. Today he was questioned for 6 hours in two rounds. On the other hand, during the interrogation of Sonia Gandhi, Congress leaders demonstrated on the street. During this, the police detained many Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi.

Earlier, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi along with her son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached the Enforcement Directorate's office at 11 am. In no time, ED officials started questioning Sonia Gandhi, while Rahul Gandhi led a march from Parliament to Rashtrapati Bhavan along with party leaders, targeting the government.

6 hours inquiry in two rounds

ED officials questioned Sonia Gandhi for about 6 hours in two rounds. ED has issued summons to Sonia Gandhi again for tomorrow i.e. Wednesday. Let us inform that the ED is interrogating Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald money laundering case. Earlier, ED officials have also questioned Rahul Gandhi.

Tomorrow will be a long questioning

New Delhi : ED sources said that many questions from Sonia Gandhi are yet to be answered. Hence summons have been issued to Sonia Gandhi to appear tomorrow also. If Sonia Gandhi's health remains fine, the interrogation may be prolonged.

Priyanka Gandhi was sitting in another room

Sources said Priyanka Gandhi was sitting in another room of the Enforcement Directorate office with medicines for her 75-year-old mother, Sonia Gandhi. If she (Sonia Gandhi) needed medical help, Priyanka Gandhi was allowed to stay in the office as an emergency.

The questioning took place for two hours on the first day

On Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate questioned Sonia Gandhi for nearly two hours amid strong protests by Congress leaders who accused the BJP-ruled central government of vendetta politics. Even then Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was also present with her mother in the Delhi office of the investigating agency.

During the last meeting at the ED office, more than two dozen questions were asked to Sonia Gandhi.
