Parliament session: Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi amidst the ruckus in the name of India. On this, Congress MP Jairam Ramesh has given an important information on behalf of the party. He said, Sonia Gandhi has sent a letter to the Prime Minister in which it is written that the meeting has been called without any discussion. No consultation has taken place and the agenda item is not known. He told that the party is ready to attend the special session of Parliament instead of boycotting it. Jairam Ramesh said, 'We have decided not to boycott the special session of Parliament. This is an opportunity for us to put the problems of the people in front of everyone. Every party will try to put forward different issues. Let us tell you that a special session of Parliament is to be held from 18 to 22 September.

The Congress leader said, from our side we will try to bring forward those issues which we could not raise in the last session. This time Sonia ji has told the Prime Minister that there are 9 important issues from our side which we want to raise. There can be discussion on the rule under which it will be raised in Lok Sabha-Rajya Sabha. In a letter to PM Modi, Sonia Gandhi expressed hope that the issues raised by the opposition during the special session of Parliament will be taken up in the spirit of constructive cooperation. In the letter, he urged discussion on nine issues in the special session of Parliament, including the economic situation, agreements with farmer organizations, disclosures by Adani Group, demand for caste census, attacks on the federal structure.

9 Issues on which debate has been demanded-

  1. The first issue is - backbreaking inflation, inflation of micro, small and medium industries, increase in prices of essential commodities and unemployment.
  2. Some talks were held with farmer organizations, some promises were made. What is the intention of the government on MSP?
  3. The revelations made regarding Adani Business Group are being investigated. Full disclosure cannot happen without JPC.
  4. Caste census, census was not done in 2021, 14 crore people could not be beneficiaries of food security. It is necessary to have a census and caste census is mandatory.
  5. Attack on the federal structure – What has happened in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka must be discussed.
  6. Natural calamity – Lakhs of people displaced due to floods in Himachal. Extreme floods and droughts are natural disasters, but have not been declared as natural disasters yet.
  7. Related to China – On June 19, 2020, the PM gave a clean chit to China. China is sitting on our land but not a single word has been spoken, there should be a debate on this. A collective resolution should be moved by the Parliament.
  8. Communal tensions are being created. Sonia ji said that there is communal tension, an atmosphere of fear has been created. Discuss the people being targeted.
  9. It's been four months since the Manipur case. Even today people are suffering, millions are displaced.
Blast North and South Block also with ammunition – Adhir

At the same time, let us tell you that the rhetoric from the opposition regarding the name Bharat is going on but the most shocking statement has been given by Congress leader in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that the government should vacate North Block and South Block apart from Rashtrapati Bhavan. If necessary, the government should destroy them with ammunition because this is also a sign of slavery in the country.
