UP News: As elections are approaching in the country, controversial statements of leaders are also being heard. Just a few days ago, Tamil Nadu Government Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has given a controversial statement regarding Sanatan Dharma. Now Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya has also come into the same race. Actually Swami Prasad Maurya was addressing a program in Hardoi. During this time he has given a controversial statement regarding Hindu religion.

Controversial statement of Swami Prasad Maurya

Addressing a program in Hardoi, Swami Prasad Maurya said, 'What you call Hindu nation, that Bharat nation is already established. This India was never a Hindu nation, is neither a Hindu nation nor will be a Hindu nation. Therefore friends, those demanding Hindu Rashtra are anti-constitution and anti-democracy.

Swami Prasad did not stop at this. He further said, 'How is Hinduism? To be honest, it is a Persian word which means low and lowly. Brahmin religion has been called Hindu religion because in the caste census of 1931, the Brahmin population was three and a half percent. If they were called Brahmins, then Brahmins comprising three and a half percent of the population would have become a minority. To maintain themselves in majority, they also included Kshatriyas and Shudras. You consider it a trick. What we consider as Hindu religion is not Hindu religion at all. If this was Hindu religion then it would have considered everyone equal.

Said this on Brahmins

SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya has also given a controversial statement regarding Brahmins. He said, 'Brahmins call themselves Swayambhu, how are they Swayambhu? They don't even believe in being born from their mother's womb. It is said that we are born from the mouth of Brahma. Have you ever seen anyone being born through the mouth?

People of Hardoi, tell me have you ever seen anyone being born from the mouth of Brahma. Have you seen anyone creating Kshatriyas with his hands? Have seen someone being born with legs or someone being born from Vaishya community. Be it India, China or any other place, the process of having a child is the same everywhere. Everywhere a child is born from its mother's womb. But the hypocritical people here make different rules and say that some are born with a mouth and some are born with arms. It seems that the organs arising at four places in Brahma's body were made separately. They used to produce it from wherever they wanted.
