Mohsin Khan: When there are two batsmen in front who are known for hitting long shots. It is not easy to save 11 runs in the last over in front of him. That too when the bowler's last match was very bad and you are making a comeback after a year. This is a huge task for any bowler and this task has been accomplished by Mohsin Khan, the young bowler of Lucknow Super Giants. On Tuesday, Mohsin did not allow Mumbai Indians to score 11 runs in the last over and gave his team a five-run win.

Mohsin did this amazing when two stormy batsmen of Mumbai were in front. Such batsmen, on whose bat the ball hits, then only go for sixes. These batsmen are Tim David and Cameron Green. David was also batting stormy and Green has the power to hit two sixes but Mohsin failed both of them.

Gave only five runs in the last over

In the last over, Lucknow needed 11 runs to win. But Mohsin gave only five runs. He did not allow Green to take a single run on the first ball. Green took a single on the second ball. David was also able to take a single on the next ball. Then even on the fourth ball, Green could not take any run. Green was able to take only one run on the fifth ball and here Lucknow's victory was confirmed.

Mohsin just had to make sure that he did not bowl any no balls. Mohsin did nothing wrong even on the last ball and gave only two runs and with this gave victory to Lucknow.

Return after a year

Mohsin made his IPL debut last year. He played for Lucknow and contributed significantly in taking the team to the playoffs. Last season, Mohsin took 14 wickets in nine matches. But since the last IPL, he was away from cricket as he got injured. He had an injury in his shoulder and he also underwent surgery for it. He was emerging from this injury and that is why he did not play many matches in the beginning of IPL-2023.

He made a comeback against Chennai Super Kings on May 3 this season but did not bowl in this match. He got a chance against Gujarat Titans on May 7 and in this match he took one wicket for 42 runs in three overs. That is, his performance was not good, but leaving this performance behind, he bowled well against Mumbai and won Lucknow.

Worried about father's health

Mohsin was not just struggling with his game or his injury. He was also troubled by his family. His father was hospitalized for the last 10 days. He returned home from the hospital on Monday itself. Mohsin was also worried about his father's health, but this bowler has done such a thing that his father will also be happy.
