Delhi Accident: Intervening night of 31st December and 1st January. It was the same night when most people were celebrating the New Year. were congratulating each other. Then something happened in Delhi's Kanjhawala around 3:00 in the morning, after reading which all the joy of the celebration went out and people started exclaiming that God! what happened.... Whoever came to know about this incident, his soul trembled. His head bowed in shame.

This hair-raising incident is related to a girl living in Aman Vihar, who had the responsibility of her entire family. She was working for a better tomorrow for her two younger brothers and for her mother who has both kidney failure. Since she looked after the work of event management, she used to return home late at night. When she did not return home, the family informed the police the next day at 8 am. The police were also shaken by the revelations that followed. Mother became unconscious. The family broke up.

In fact, on the night of December 31, five youths drank heavily. After returning from Murthal, he was going from Mangolpuri to Rohini. The speed of Baleno car was fast. Songs were playing loudly inside. There was a sound of someone hitting his car in Sultanpuri. They were all so intoxicated that they didn't even pay attention. On a narrow road, they had run over a girl who was coming on a two wheeler. The girl was trapped under the car between the bumper and the wheels. The savages dragged him not for a few metres, but for the entire 13 kms, till the village of Kanjhawala.

At around 3:24 am, a passer-by told Kanjhawala police station in Rohini district on phone that a car was going towards Qutubgarh and a dead body was seen hanging in it. Police started investigation. A damaged scooty was found at 3:53 am. The investigation progressed, but at 4:11 a.m. the police were informed that the body had been found.

By the time a passerby could do anything or the police could reach, it was too late. The drunk youth had crushed the girl by then. The support of his family had been crushed. Her daughter's life had been snatched from her parents. It is difficult to describe in words what people saw when the car stopped. There was not a cloth left on the girl's body. All the bones and ribs were shattered. Due to rubbing from the road, the rear part of the body had almost disappeared. One leg was missing. The other leg was completely amputated. Bleeding had happened so much that not even a drop of blood was left inside the body.

The arrested accused have been identified as Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishna, Mithun and Manoj Mittal. Police is investigating further. People are on the streets. If there is yearning for this painful accident in the mind, then there is also anger against the intoxicated careless youth. This incident has left behind many questions. Like- is this just an accident or a conspiracy? Will the accused be tried only for culpable homicide not amounting to rash driving or should it be directly tried for murder? The mother who has lost her daughter has a question in the hope of justice that she had worn so many clothes, then why was there nothing left on her body?
