Just before the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, RPN Singh said goodbye to the Congress and joined the BJP and has created turmoil in the politics of the state. It is believed that BJP will put RPN Singh in front of Samajwadi Party's Padrauna MLA leader Swami Prasad Maurya. Maurya has also reacted to this and expressed confidence about his victory in the electoral battle against RPN Singh.

Maurya said that RPN Singh was born in the palace. He is the king and I am the fakir. In the battle with the king, I will win the fakir. He said that the concern should be for those people who want to eat cream. I stay cool, surrounded by thousands of workers. Even though I am not a minister today, I am surrounded by workers. At the same time, this time also on the question of contesting from his Padrauna, Maurya said that whatever decision the party takes, I will follow it.

'SP president will decide my role in the election'

Apart from this, Maurya also denied the allegations that he was demanding a ticket for his son. He said that these things are baseless. He will decide the role in which SP President (Akhilesh Yadav) will keep me. Maurya said that I take political decisions for myself. If someone joins the party or resigns, it is his own decision. Please tell that Maurya's daughter Sanghamitra Gautam is a BJP MP.

Swami Prasad had joined BJP in 2017

Swami Prasad Maurya of BSP won from here in the by-election of Padrauna Assembly held in 2009. In 2012 also Maurya won. Maurya joined the BJP just before the 2017 elections and managed to win from here for the third time. This time again Maurya has changed his side. This time he has joined the Samajwadi Party. Now if BJP brings out RPN Singh from here, then Padrauna's contest will become very interesting.
