The Tiago EV is expected to get a 26kWh lithium-ion battery pack like the Tigor EV. With the help of this DC fast charger, it will be said to charge up to 80% in an hour. Its price will be less than 10 lakh rupees.

Features of driving a car with one foot

Tata Motors has also clarified that the Tiago EV will come with connected car technology. It will be equipped with the company's ZConnect technology, which is also found in other Tata electric vehicles. This smartwatch also supports connectivity. Tata said that the Tiago EV will come with premium leather seats. It will get One Paddle Drive technology feature. This feature makes use of the strong regenerative braking feature. This feature also allows you to drive the car with one foot. As soon as you take your foot off the racing pedal, the car automatically brakes. This starts charging the battery.

Expected to get range up to 310Km

The Tiago EV is expected to come with a 26kWh battery and an electric motor that is capable of producing 74 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. The battery pack in the Tiago EV is expected to deliver a range of up to 310Km on a single charge. Not only this, Tata Motors can also launch an EV model of Altroz ​​after bringing Tiago Electric. After the good success of Nexon EV in the market, the company has made full plans to launch its other cars in the EV segment.

First glimpse at the 2018 Auto Expo

Tata Tiago EV was first showcased at Auto Expo 2018. At the same time, it was expected to be launched in the Indian market by 2020, but the company postponed its launch. However, Tata Nexon EV, Nexon Max EV and Tigor EV were launched in the Indian market. Now Tiago EV is also ready to be launched.

Citroen C3 Electric will arrive a day later

A day after the launch of Tata Tiago EV, French automobile company Citroen is about to launch the Citroen C3 Electric car in the Indian market. The company has also released a teaser for it. However, in this teaser, the company has not given any information about the model or other details of this electric car. Even after this, it is believed that this Citroen C3 will be electric. Actually, Citroen C3 has got good response in the Indian market. The company can offer it with a 50W battery pack, which is seen in the Peugeot e-208 sold in the global market. It is believed that its electric motor will generate 135 bhp power and 260 Nm torque. This battery has a WLTP-certified range of 350Km.
