Police said that the terrorists who reached Adura village opened fire targeting Sarpanch Shabbir Ahmed Mir. In this he fell seriously injured. After this the terrorists fled threatening.

In nine days, two representatives were targeted in Kulgam and one in Srinagar.

BJP media in-charge of Kashmir, Manzoor Bhat, condemned the incident and said that strict action should be taken against those responsible for such attacks.
