Patna / The murder of Litti seller in Phulwari Sharif was revealed, the future candidate of the corporation election was killed by professional shooters

The murder of a litti vendor that took place on January 15 in Phulwarisharif, Bihar's capital Patna has been exposed. Patna Police has arrested four professional shooters. The shooters confessed that due to the rivalry of the candidates in the upcoming municipal elections, they were murdered by paying them money.

According to Manish Kumar Sinha, ASAP of Patna, Kundan Pal, a litti shopkeeper, was shot dead near a petrol pump in Haroon Nagar. Professional shooters were given the contract of murder. Rakesh Kumar Mahato, the future councilor candidate of Karauri Chak, got the future candidate of the same area, Kundan Pal, killed by giving him a betel nut of five lakhs.

Both were preparing for the upcoming municipal elections. Kundan Pal was a strong contender for the ticket. Seeing his popularity, Rakesh Kumar plotted the murder. The shooters were paid Rs 1.5 lakh as advance for the murder and the remaining Rs 3.50 lakh after the incident.

According to the police, land dispute and other aspects are also being investigated in the matter. During the investigation, the police scrutinized several CCTV footage of the spot. Many mobile numbers were also checked by keeping them under surveillance. These numbers were talked about several times during the murder of Kundan Pal. In this way, success was achieved in exposing the murder.

Apart from the betel nut killer Chandan, the police have arrested his accomplices Shubham Kumar, Lopi Kumar alias Sahil and Mandela Kumar for the murder of future councilor candidate Kundan Pal. The weapons used in the crime have also been recovered. The search is on for Rakesh Kumar Mahato, the mastermind of the murder.
