Due to lack of resources, a video of Shukul Rajbhar, a resident of Chilkahar block, taking his ailing wife on a handcart on March 28, to Chilkahar PHC, four km away, has gone viral. Although, after being referred from Chilkahar, Shukla took the wife to the district hospital by private means, but could not save the wife's life. Now questions are being raised that if Shukla had reached Chilkahar Government Hospital, then why ambulance was not provided there.

Shukul Rajbhar's wife Jogini Devi (55) was not keeping well. On March 28, when the condition became critical, Shukla searched the vehicle around to take his wife to the hospital, but could not find it. After this, he went to Chilkahar with his wife on the handcart.

The doctors referred Jogini to the district hospital stating her critical condition. From there, Shukla took his wife to the district hospital by private means, but died. After the photo of this incident was uploaded on Twitter, questions are being raised that if Shukul had reached Chilakhar Government Hospital, why was an ambulance not provided there.

Prashant Kumar, in-charge of Chilkahar PHC, said that after getting information, he had sent the team on Monday. After this it was found that the person had brought the wife from the handcart to Chilkahar. After this he was taken to the district hospital, where he died. When asked, he told that he had not called for an ambulance.
