Delhiites are going to get better health services this year. Seven new hospitals can be gifted in the coming days. At the same time, free testing services in government hospitals are also being expanded. Apart from these, every citizen of Delhi will also get their own e-health card this year.

Departmental officers are busy to complete these schemes of the health sector. An official said that health services are being expanded by dividing Delhi into three clusters. There are a total of 11 districts in the capital. Four each in two clusters and three districts in one cluster. These are named A, B and C clusters. Changes are being made by taking all the government health services present here together.

A tender has also been issued for free testing in hospitals. With the participation of the private health sector, from this year, the people of Delhi will get more than 400 tests free of cost in hospitals. Apart from hospitals, patients arriving at dispensaries, mohalla clinics and polyclinics will also get this facility. Similarly, in the coming days, seven new hospitals including Shalimar Bagh, Sarita Vihar are going to be gifted, whose construction work has been completed more than 80 percent. E-health cards can also be issued in two to three months. The process is going on for the last several months regarding this, which is in the final stage.

Negligence will attract a fine of Rs 500

According to Planning Director Dr. Sanjay Agrawal, it has also been arranged in the new tender that if the barcode is applied after taking the patient's sample, then a fine of Rs 500 will be imposed in the said case. According to the rules, first a bar code or QR code will be used, after which the patient's sample will be taken and kept in it. Apart from this, the help of private testing center can be taken only for those tests which are not available in the concerned hospital.
