Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Dibrugarh in Assam today on 28 April. There he will inaugurate seven new cancer hospitals in the state. He will also lay the foundation stone of seven new cancer hospitals in the state. According to the Prime Minister's Office, during the program PM Modi will also launch various projects in the education sector.

Will lay the foundation stone of the college

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a 'peace, unity and development rally' at Diphu in Karbi Anglong district at around 11 am and will be the first to attend a party meeting here. Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Veterinary College (Diphu), Degree College (West Karbi Anglong) and Agricultural College (Kolonga, West Karbi Anglong). At the same time, these projects worth more than Rs 500 crore will bring new opportunities of skill and employment in the region.

During his visit to Assam, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of more than 2950 Amrit Sarovar projects. The Center and the states will develop these Amrit Sarovars at a cost of about Rs 1150 crore. The PMO issued a statement saying that the Prime Minister will reach Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh at around 01:45 pm and dedicate the Dibrugarh Cancer Hospital to the nation.

PM Modi to dedicate seven cancer hospitals to the nation

The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation seven cancer hospitals completed under the first phase of the project. These cancer hospitals have come up in Dibrugarh, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, Darang, Tezpur, Lakhimpur and Jorhat. He will also lay the foundation stone of seven new cancer hospitals to be built under the second phase of the project at Dhubri, Nalbari, Goalpara, Nagaon, Sivasagar, Tinsukia and Golaghat.

Tight security arrangements were made

Assam Special DGP SN Singh said that tight security arrangements have also been made at Loringthepi ahead of PM Modi's visit. We have made adequate security arrangements in the surrounding areas as well. More than ten thousand policemen have been deployed in the district. The organizers have planned to hoist around one lakh tricolor flags to welcome the prime minister.

German next week. PM Modi to visit Denmark and France

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on an official visit to three European countries Germany, Denmark and France from May 2-4. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) gave this information on Wednesday. The ministry said that the visit would be an opportunity to enhance cooperation in a wide range of areas and also an opportunity for governments to exchange views on regional issues.

This will be PM Modi's first foreign visit in the year 2022. PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Germany. After Germany, the Prime Minister will travel to Copenhagen at the invitation of Danish Prime Minister Matt Frederiksen, where he will participate in the second India-Nordic Summit. Before returning to India on May 4, Modi will meet President-elect Emmanuel Macron in France for the second time.

This visit of PM Modi to Europe is also considered important in the sense that Europe has been continuously asking India to reduce its dependence on Russia.
