PM Modi News: In view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi spoke on phone with Rajmata Amrita Roy. He called up and told Rajmata Amrita Roy that the money seized by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in West Bengal would be given to the poor people from whom it was looted. He said the Prime Minister is exploring legal options to ensure that the money looted from the poor comes back to them, along with whatever property and money the ED has seized from the corrupt.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that on one hand BJP is committed to root out corruption from the country, while on the other hand all the corrupt have come together to save each other. The PM expressed confidence that West Bengal will vote for change in the state.

Let us tell you that while releasing the fifth list of Lok Sabha elections on March 24, BJP has made Queen Mother of West Bengal Amrita Roy its candidate from Krishnanagar. At the same time, Mahutra Moitra is once again contesting from Krishnanagar Lok Sabha seat of West Bengal on Trinamool Congress ticket. In such a situation, there will be a contest between Mahua Moitra and Rajmata Amrita Roy from Krishna Nagar.

BJP candidate Amrita Roy is the wife of Soumish Chandra Roy, the 39th descendant of Rajbari in Nadia district. Rajmata had joined BJP on March 20. BJP announced his candidature just five days later. Amrita Roy's political journey will start directly with contesting the Lok Sabha elections.
