Delhi Liquor Scam: ED has made a big allegation against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding the Delhi liquor scam. ED has described Kejriwal as the kingpin of this scam. ED has said in its remand copy that Aam Aadmi Party contested the elections in Goa with the bribe money received in the liquor scam. Not only this, ED has accused Kejriwal of running Aam Aadmi Party like a company. Delhi court has sent Kejriwal to ED remand for 6 days. Now ED has arrested the second accused in this scam, K. Kejriwal can be made to sit in front of Kavita and interrogated.

Furious over sending Kejriwal to ED custody till March 28, Delhi Minister Atishi cornered BJP and said that BJP wants to contest elections by hiding behind ED. At the same time, after the arrest of Kejriwal, the entire Indi Alliance has united. Today, the leaders of Indi Alliance are going to protest against the arrest of Kejriwal in Shaheedi Park, while on 26th, Aam Aadmi Party workers have announced to gherao the PM's residence. This means that Delhi is going to see tremendous political activity for a few days.

ED made these shocking claims about Kejriwal

Kejriwal will now remain in ED custody till March 28. During this time he will have to face sharp questions from ED on the liquor scam. He will have to answer each and every question related to the scam because the claims made by ED in the court about Kejriwal are very shocking.

ED told the court for the first time why Kejriwal was arrested.

  • ED claimed that Kejriwal is the mastermind of the liquor scam.
  • It was Kejriwal who made the liquor policy which benefited the liquor traders.
  • A profit of about Rs 600 crore was earned from this policy.
  • Out of this, Aam Aadmi Party received Rs 100 crore as kickback.
  • Out of this, Rs 45 crore was spent in Goa elections.
The candidates to whom the money was delivered are ready to give statements.

ED told the court that it has solid evidence to support whatever she is claiming. On Friday, ED put all the links of the liquor scam before the court and told that the conspiracy of the liquor scam was hatched very carefully and cleverly. The mobile phones which were used for talking or messaging were destroyed. But during investigation, messages were found from the phones of some accused which revealed that Rs 45 crore of liquor scam was sent through hawala for Goa elections. The candidates to whom the money was delivered are also ready to give statements.

In the court, Kejriwal's lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi opposed the remand by linking the case to electoral politics, but after seeing the documents, the court sent Kejriwal to ED custody for 6 days. After getting the custody, the ED team took Kejriwal straight to the ED office where a series of questions and answers were started with him.

Permission to meet lawyers and wife every day

According to the court order, Arvind Kejriwal will have to present the ED in the court by 2 pm on March 28. The interrogation of Arvind Kejriwal will be done under the surveillance of CCTV cameras and the footage will be kept safe. Under Section 41D of CrPC, accused Arvind Kejriwal will be allowed to meet his lawyers Mohammad Irshad and Vivek Jain for half an hour every day between 6 pm to 7 pm. Along with this, Kejriwal has been allowed to meet his wife Sunita Kejriwal and personal secretary Vibhav Kumar for half an hour every day. In view of the poor health of Arvind Kejriwal, the court has ordered the ED to allow him to eat home food if it does not provide him the diet recommended by the doctors.
