New Parliament: From today the parliamentary proceedings of the country will be held in the new Parliament. The day is also very auspicious for this because today is Ganesh Chaturthi and on this day Shri Ganesh of the new Parliament will take place. It is noteworthy that at present a 5-day session of Parliament is going on, the first day of which started from the Old Parliament House on 18th September. Today (19 September) is the second day of this session, which will be held from the new Parliament House.

What is today's programme?

There will be a photo session of all the MPs at 9.30 am in the old building of Parliament. After this, a special program will be organized in the Central Hall of the new Parliament House at 11 am. This program can last for one and a half hours. After the program is over, formal puja will be done and then the new Parliament will be entered. The proceedings of the House will start at 1:15 pm in the new building of Parliament. Parliament session will be held here today and regular parliamentary work will begin in the new building from September 20.

Who will speak in the new Parliament?

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, PM Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, Piyush Goyal, Maneka Gandhi, Shibu Soren and Manmohan Singh will speak in the Central Hall. Let us tell you that Maneka Gandhi will speak in the Parliament because she has served as an MP in the Lok Sabha for the longest period. Whereas former PM Manmohan Singh has been an MP in Rajya Sabha for a long time. Apart from this, Shibu Soren will give speech because he has been an MP in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha for a long time.

PM will go to the new Parliament House on foot from the old Parliament House, carrying a copy of the Constitution
