CAA: The Central Government has implemented the Citizenship (Amendment) Act i.e. CAA last Monday. Through CAA, the central government will give Indian citizenship to persecuted Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis and Christians who came from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan till December 31, 2014. However, this decision of the government is also being opposed by the opposition parties. In the same sequence, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has also attacked the BJP government at the Centre.

Former Maharashtra CM and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray said on the issue of CAA that a new law CAA has been brought in the country. Those Hindus, Sikhs, Parsis and Jains who are scared outside the country will be brought to our country. They will definitely be brought, but this is just an election gimmick. When I was the CM, they (BJP) brought CAA in the country. And had brought the ghost of NRC.

Uddhav Thackeray said that last time when CAA came, fear was created in the minds of people, especially in the minds of people of Assam. Uddhav Thackeray said that there are many petitions in the court against this law. The court's decision has not yet come on these, but the Central Government has issued the notification of CAA.

Uddhav Thackeray alleged that BJP wants to create discrimination between religions. He said that in the upcoming elections, on one side there is BJP which is creating hatred between religions and on the other side there is patriotic INDI alliance. This election is going to be between patriots versus haters. Uddhav further said that if you want to bring Hindus from abroad to our country, then first bring back Kashmiri Pandits and then bring CAA.
