India-Russia Relation / US report claims, India and China are secretly helping Russia!

US and Reuters report claim that India and China are indirectly helping Russia in the war. Indian company sent explosive chemicals while China sent drone engines. US warns - trade with Russia will be banned and 100% tariff will be imposed.

India-Russia Relation: Amid the ongoing war in Ukraine, despite all the sanctions from the US and Western countries, India and China are once again in the news. A recent report by American news agency Reuters claimed that India and China are indirectly helping Russia in its war. This help is not in the form of direct supply of weapons, but through materials that can be used in war.

Allegation against India: Supply of explosive chemicals

According to the report, a private company in India has sold explosive chemicals worth about Rs 11.7 crore (1.4 million dollars) to two Russian companies. One of these companies, Promsintez, is said to be directly linked to the Russian army. This means that these chemicals can be used not only in civilian works like mining, but also for military purposes.

Details:

Goods worth $1 million (about Rs 8.4 crore) were supplied to Promsintez.

The second Russian company, High Technology Initiative Systems, was sent goods worth $400,000 (about Rs 3.3 crore). This company describes itself as involved in mining, but the possibility of its military use cannot be ruled out.

However, the Indian government has not yet given any official response to this report, and the Indian Embassy in Washington DC has also remained silent on the issue.

Accusation on China: Drone engines or refrigerator units?

The report also makes serious allegations against China. It is claimed that a Chinese company, Beijing Xichao International Technology and Trade, supplied drone engines to Russian arms manufacturer Kupol. But on paper these were shown as industrial refrigeration units.

Important facts:

Kupol has a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry, under which it will make 6,000 combat drones by 2025 - three times more than last year.

The US State Department says that more than 80% of the dual-use technology (which can be used for both civilian and military purposes) that Russia receives comes from China.

The Chinese Embassy completely rejected these allegations and said that China has never supplied lethal weapons to any country. At the same time, he claimed that China's control over the rules related to dual-use goods and drones is the strictest in the world. However, many officials, including US Senator Marco Rubio, termed these claims as "false and misleading".

America's stance: soft on India, tough on China

In the report, America's stance on India seems relatively soft. Describing India as a "strategic partner", the US State Department said that talks with India on the issue of Russia are held with "honesty and transparency". But at the same time a warning was also given that if any foreign company or bank is found to be associated with Russia's military system, it may have to face strict US sanctions.

At the same time, America's tone against China is quite harsh. Officials say that China is the biggest supporter of Russia's war policy, and it helps in such clever ways that it is difficult to catch it.

Trump's warning: Threat of 100% tariff

Republican presidential candidate in America, Donald Trump, has taken a tough stand on Russia. He said that if Russia does not agree to a peace agreement by September 2025, then 100% tariff and other sanctions will be imposed on countries buying oil from Russia. This warning can be serious for India and China, which import huge amounts of oil from Russia. It can especially have a big impact on India's energy policy and oil imports.
